Costaflores and Openvino
On April 5th, Mike Tango Bravo signed an agreement with the INV (Wine National Institute) to make OpenVino accessible to any winery in the country.
OpenVino is an innovative project that will allow Argentine wineries to apply disruptive technologies such as blockchain, cryptocurrency and the Internet of Things (IoT), under a transparent and open access process.
Our winery Costaflores has been working with OpenVino philosophy and services since the very beginning. As a result, it became the first one in the world to share ALL its information: from grape growing and winemaking data through IoT devices, to complete accounting and sales logistics.
Costaflores launched its first VCO (Vintage Coin Offering) on May 6th, 2018. It was the first worldwide cryptocurrency linked to wine production: the MTB18. In May of this year, it will launch MTB22, its fifth token. Each token represents a bottle of wine from that year.
Bravo Openvino! Well done Costaflores!
